2. What we collect
This is an informational website. We do not operate accounts, logins or e-commerce here.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to respond to you.
- Technical request data. Our hosting provider records standard server information for each request, including IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. This is used to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this website, and we do not build marketing profiles from visitors.
3. Third parties who process data on our behalf
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, and processes the technical request data described above.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request.
4. Why we may process your data
We process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so, namely:
- your consent, where you have given it;
- our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, operating a secure website and protecting it from abuse;
- compliance with legal or regulatory obligations that apply to us.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed in section 3, professional advisers bound by confidentiality, or where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
6. International transfers
Because our hosting and font providers operate global networks, data described in this policy may be processed on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers under their own data protection terms.
7. Retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete it. Technical request data is retained for a short period by our hosting provider in line with their standard retention settings.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sdfinteractive.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at this address, and the "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
